Vancouver’s struggles continue as they lose to the Nashville Predators 4-1
The Vancouver Canucks continued their downward spiral on Tuesday night, losing 4-1 to the Nashville Predators. The loss was the Canucks’ sixth straight, and dropped their record to 9-15-3 on the season.
J.T. Miller was benched for the game by head coach Bruce Boudreau, who said after the game that he wanted to “send a message” to the team.
The Canucks were outshot 34-21 in the game, and were unable to generate much offense. Elias Pettersson scored the Canucks’ only goal in the third period.
The Predators got goals from Filip Forsberg, Matt Duchene, Eeli Tolvanen, and Tanner Jeannot.
The Canucks will be back in action on Thursday night when they host the Edmonton Oilers.
