Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann could roll out big changes vs. Hungary
Manager might make multiple alterations for Nations League clash
Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly considering making multiple changes to his starting lineup for the Nations League clash against Hungary on Friday. The Germans are currently third in Group A3, having picked up just one point from their opening two matches.
Potential Changes
Nagelsmann may recall goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who has been in fine form for Barcelona this season. In defense, Antonio Rudiger could replace Niklas Sule, while Thilo Kehrer is also in contention to start at right-back.
In midfield, Leon Goretzka could come in for Ilkay Gundogan, while Jamal Musiala is pushing for a starting spot ahead of Kai Havertz. Up front, Timo Werner is likely to keep his place, but Leroy Sane could replace Serge Gnabry.
Nagelsmann is expected to announce his final team on Thursday. Germany will be looking to get their Nations League campaign back on track with a win over Hungary.
