Cargo plane goes off the runway at Vancouver International Airport
Vancouver, British Columbia - A cargo plane has gone off the runway at Vancouver International Airport.
The incident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. PT on Friday, when the plane, a Boeing 737, was landing at the airport. The plane was carrying five crew members, but no passengers.
The plane went off the runway and came to a stop in the grass. The crew was able to evacuate the plane safely, and there were no injuries.
The cause of the incident is under investigation. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating the incident.
The airport has been closed following the incident. All flights have been canceled or diverted to other airports.
