Barrie Police investigating stabbing on Bayfield and Cundles Road
Officers closed Bayfield Street near the Mapleview Drive intersection due to the incident

Barrie police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the city's south end on Thursday evening
Officers were called to the area of Bayfield Street and Cundles Road at around 6:45 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they located a victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Barrie police closed Bayfield Street between Mapleview Drive and Cundles Road for several hours while they investigated the incident.
No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released.

This is the second stabbing incident in Barrie in less than a week. On Monday, a man was stabbed in the city's downtown core.
