Turkey 0-0 Wales: Penalty miss was justice served - Bellamy
Wales legend Craig Bellamy believes Kieffer Moore's missed penalty was 'justice served' after Turkey were awarded a 'soft' spot-kick.
Moore blazed his 80th-minute penalty over the bar after Turkey goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir was adjudged to have fouled Halil Dervisoglu.
But Bellamy, who was working as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes the decision to award the penalty was harsh.
"I think it's justice served," Bellamy said. "I think it was a very soft penalty. I don't think there was enough contact there.
"I think the referee got it wrong. I think he was influenced by the crowd. I think he was influenced by the atmosphere.
"I think Wales got away with one there. I think Turkey deserved to win the game. They were the better team.
"But I'm delighted for Wales. It's a great result for them. It keeps them in the race for qualification.
"But I think they need to improve. They need to be better if they want to qualify for the World Cup.
"Turkey were the better team tonight. They created more chances. They had more of the ball.
"Wales were lucky to get away with a point. They need to be better if they want to qualify for the World Cup.
"But it's a great result for them. It keeps them in the race for qualification."
