A sweet treat for a great cause
Tim Hortons’ annual Smile Cookie campaign is back, and this year, all proceeds from the sale of Smile Cookies in Penticton will go to the Penticton Legion, Branch 40. Tim Hortons restaurant owners across the country are donating 100 per cent of the proceeds to local charities, with more than 550 charities benefiting from the campaign last year. This year’s campaign runs from Nov. 17-23, and all Tim Hortons locations in Penticton will be participating. Smile Cookies will be available for purchase for $1 each, with all proceeds going to the Legion.
The Penticton Legion is a non-profit organization that provides a variety of services to veterans and their families, including social programs, housing, and financial assistance. The Legion also plays an important role in the community, hosting events and providing support to local organizations.
Tim Hortons’ Smile Cookie campaign has raised more than $60 million for charities across Canada since it began in 1996. The campaign is a great way to support a local charity and enjoy a delicious treat at the same time.
