Riessersee Continue Their Winning Run - Rout ECDC Memmingen 5:2
SC Riessersee continued their winning run in the DEL2 on Saturday night, defeating ECDC Memmingen 5:2 at the Eisstadion am Tegernsee.
The home side took the lead in the first period through a goal from Lubor Dibelka, and they extended their lead in the second period through goals from Yannick Wenzel and Tobias Eder.
Memmingen pulled one back through a goal from Max Lukes in the third period but Riessersee restored their three-goal advantage through a goal from Daniel Bucheli.
The visitors reduced the deficit to one goal again through a goal from David Zucker but Riessersee held on to secure the win.
Riessersee End Memmingen’s Unbeaten Run
The win was Riessersee’s fifth in a row and it ended Memmingen’s unbeaten run of four games.
Riessersee are now up to fourth place in the DEL2 standings, while Memmingen are down to sixth place.
The two teams will meet again in Memmingen on December 17th.
