Perth OPP investigating serious collision in Perth East

Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision between a car and a dump truck in Perth East on Thursday

The collision occurred at the intersection of Perth Line 34 and Perth Road 125 at around 1:45 p.m.

The driver of the car, a 49-year-old man from Perth East, was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the dump truck, a 28-year-old man from Stratford, was also transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
