Heikendorf - On Saturday evening, a large fire broke out in a residential building in Heikendorf in the Plön district. According to the fire department, several people were injured, and the cause of the fire is still unclear.

The fire brigade was alerted around 7:30 p.m. about a fire in a multi-family house on Dorfstraße. When the first emergency services arrived, the building was already engulfed in flames. The fire brigade immediately launched extinguishing measures and was able to bring the fire under control after about an hour.

According to the fire department, several people were injured in the fire and had to be taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
