Man with knife on U of M campus: Winnipeg police
Winnipeg police said they were called to the U of M campus around 11 a.m. after receiving reports of a man with a knife.
The man was taken into custody without incident and no one was injured.
The University of Manitoba campus was briefly locked down on Tuesday morning after a man was seen with a knife.
Winnipeg police said they were called to the Fort Garry campus around 11 a.m. after receiving reports of a man with a knife.
Officers located the man and took him into custody without incident. No one was injured.
The campus was locked down for about 45 minutes while police investigated.
The lockdown was lifted just before 12 p.m. and the campus is now operating normally.
Police are still investigating and no charges have been laid.
