Havixbeck: Serious Accident on B474 - Road Closed

On Monday (February 27, 2023) at around 3:30 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on the B474 between Havixbeck and Billerbeck.

According to initial findings, a 24-year-old woman from Billerbeck was driving a Toyota Yaris in the direction of Havixbeck. At the intersection with the L875, she collided with a Mercedes Sprinter driven by a 59-year-old man from Havixbeck.

As a result of the collision, both vehicles were so badly damaged that they had to be towed. The 24-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The 59-year-old man was slightly injured.

The B474 was closed for several hours for the rescue work and accident investigation. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
