Craig Bellamy continues unbeaten record as Wales earn point in Turkey

Wales twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw in their World Cup qualifier in Turkey

Kieffer Moore's stoppage-time header rescued a point for the visitors after Gareth Bale had equalised earlier in the second half

Wales extended their unbeaten run under caretaker manager Robert Page to five matches and moved second in Group E with the draw in Istanbul.

Burak Yilmaz had given Turkey the lead early in the first half, before Connor Roberts equalised midway through the period.

Caglar Soyuncu restored Turkey's lead just before the hour mark, only for Bale to level again with a free-kick.

Moore then secured a point with a powerful header in the second minute of stoppage time.

The result leaves Wales two points behind leaders Belgium, who they face in Cardiff on Tuesday.

Turkey, who have now drawn their last three qualifiers, are third in the group, one point behind Wales.

Wales made a bright start and had a great chance to take the lead in the 10th minute when Bale found Harry Wilson in the area, but the Liverpool winger fired wide.

Turkey took the lead against the run of play in the 16th minute when Yilmaz controlled a long ball from Ozan Kabak and fired low past Wayne Hennessey.

Wales responded well to the setback and equalised in the 24th minute when Roberts met Bale's cross with a powerful header.

Turkey regained the lead in the 59th minute when Soyuncu rose highest to head home a corner from Yusuf Yazici.

Wales continued to push for an equaliser and were rewarded in the 65th minute when Bale curled a free-kick into the top corner.

The visitors thought they had won it in the 86th minute when Wilson's cross found Moore, but the Cardiff striker's header was ruled out for offside.

However, Moore had the last word in the second minute of stoppage time when he met Bale's cross with a powerful header to secure a point for Wales.

Wales will now face Belgium in Cardiff on Tuesday, while Turkey will travel to the Netherlands.
