Caledon Secondary School Lockdown Lifted, No Threat Found

Caledon, Ontario –

Caledon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have lifted the lockdown at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School after an extensive search found no threat to students or staff.

The lockdown was initiated at approximately 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, following a report of a possible threat to the school.

The OPP, along with the Caledon Fire Department and Peel Regional Paramedics, responded to the scene and conducted a thorough search of the school.

No Threat Found, Lockdown Lifted

After a thorough search of the school, no threat was found and the lockdown was lifted at approximately 2:30 PM.

All students and staff were safely evacuated from the school and are now accounted for.

The OPP is continuing to investigate the incident and is asking anyone with information to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.

The school followed its lockdown procedures, which helped to ensure the safety of students and staff.
