Wales came from behind to draw 2-2 with Turkey in a thrilling encounter in Cardiff on Thursday night.
Gareth Bale scored a stunning equaliser in the second half to earn Wales a point.
Bellamy was impressed by Wales' performance
Bellamy, who is now a pundit for Sky Sports, was impressed by Wales' performance against Turkey.
He said: "I thought Wales were excellent. They played with a lot of energy and intensity.
"They created a lot of chances and could have won the game. I think they can be a top team."
