Craig Bellamy believes Wales can become a top team after their impressive performance against Turkey in the UEFA Nations League.

Wales came from behind to draw 2-2 with Turkey in a thrilling encounter in Cardiff on Thursday night.

Gareth Bale scored a stunning equaliser in the second half to earn Wales a point.

Bellamy, who is now a pundit for Sky Sports, was impressed by Wales' performance against Turkey.

He said: "I thought Wales were excellent. They played with a lot of energy and intensity.

"They created a lot of chances and could have won the game. I think they can be a top team."

Wales have a number of talented players, including Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey and Joe Allen.

Bellamy believes that Wales have a bright future.

He said: "I think Wales have a very good squad. They have a lot of young players who are coming through.

"I think they can be a top team in the next few years."
