Sydney Kings star set to return after suffering injury in Boomers camp
The 30-year-old suffered a broken collarbone during the FIBA World Cup qualifiers
Sydney Kings star Aleksandar Pavlovic is targeting a return to action in Round 10 of the NBL season.
Pavlovic suffered a broken collarbone during the FIBA World Cup qualifiers and had surgery on August 29.
The 30-year-old has been sidelined since, but is now back in training and is expected to make his return in the Kings' clash with the Brisbane Bullets on December 2.
Pavlovic is a key member of the Kings' team, and his return will be a major boost for the club.
The Kings are currently third on the NBL ladder, and will be hoping to make a strong push for the championship this season.
Pavlovic's return will give the Kings a much-needed boost in experience and leadership.
The 30-year-old is a veteran of over 300 NBL games, and has represented Australia at the international level.
Pavlovic's return will also provide the Kings with some much-needed depth in the backcourt.
The Kings have been without injured guard Jae'Sean Tate for the past few weeks, and Pavlovic's return will help to fill the void.
Pavlovic is expected to play limited minutes in his first few games back, but he is confident that he will be able to make a significant contribution to the Kings.
"I'm feeling good," Pavlovic said.
"I'm just taking it day by day, but I'm confident that I'll be able to get back out there and help the team soon."
The Kings will be hoping that Pavlovic can make a quick and successful return to action.
The club is aiming to make a deep run into the playoffs this season, and Pavlovic's return will give them a much-needed boost.
