Nashville Predators Beat the Vancouver Canucks 5-3

The Nashville Predators traveled to Vancouver, British Columbia to faceoff against the Vancouver Canucks on October 28th, 2022. The last time these two teams faced off was the night Finnish sensation Eeli Tolvanen scored his first career NHL hat-trick in a 6-2 victory for Nashville.
The Predators jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period with goals from Yakov Trenin and Cody Glass. Vancouver battled back and tied the game in the second period with goals from Andrei Kuzmenko and Elias Pettersson.
Nashville regained the lead in the third period with a goal from Roman Josi. Vancouver's Bo Horvat tied the game again with a power-play goal, but Matt Duchene scored the game-winning goal for Nashville with just over five minutes remaining in regulation. Filip Forsberg added an empty-net goal to seal the victory for the Predators.
Tanner Jeannot scored for the Predators 19:14 into the third period to put the Predators up 5 - 3. Jeannot's goal was assisted by Jeremy Davies and Mark Borowiecki.
Juuse Saros made 30 saves for the Predators, while Thatcher Demko made 26 saves for the Canucks.
The Predators improved to 5-2-0 with the win, while the Canucks fell to 2-5-0.
The two teams will meet again in Nashville on November 28th, 2022.
